Hahaha yeah he’s a killer player but his attitude isn’t necessary. Just watching him on the field you can see his arrogance, he thinks he’s a rock star or something. I understand drawing a foul it’s part of most sports but come on haha! I find it much easier to root for a player like Messi, which might I say was fun to do in their game vs Nigeria.

 Actually, if i do recall, in the Simpsons prediction the Mexico VS Portugal game was in the final so...  ain´t gonna happen this year (only chance for that game is in the half finals)! Maybe in 2026 world cup in the USA.

 

 

Much better game, France vs. Argentina. Last second chance

came so close for Argentina. My son said, "Dad, Messi should 

have taken that last shot rather than pass it off..." And I agree,

but alas, the younger legs of France (Mbappe!!) go on.

 

I do have to say, Argentina's defense was way too porous in

the end.

Sad day for Ronaldo and Messi fans...

 

Some great soccer though. At least we've had no biting issues

Late to post, but that was an excellent final. Sad for Croatia,

but France had the fresher legs and speed...and defense.

 

Mbappe is an amazing 19 year old. I look forward to his play 

in the future.

 

Modric and Rokitic. Sad they didn't bring it home. They're two 

of the best midfielders (Modric arguably best) in the world.
