Just bought one what retrieves fo u use with this bait? And I bought the smaller jr one, the hooks seem a little small. Seem to be a short shank 6, was thinking about going up to a short shank 4? Any thoughts or suggestions would b appreciated. Thanks

    Be careful with the added weight of the bigger hooks adversely affecting the action.

    I use a tip up retrieve.  I let fish tell me what speed.

    When I lived on Cape Cod last year we would use full size Buzz Jets. One of the best top water baits I have fished. Very well made & easy to fish.

    Don't change the hooks, it's hard enough to keep the Jr on the surface as is. Keep the rod tip up and reel slow.
