Boat Decking

Featured Replies

Has anyone given any thought to using composite decking to build out their boats?  I am not sure if there is any weight difference.  You would not have to woory about it getting waterlogged.  I have been thinking building a deck from the 1st seat forwardon my 14 ft modified v-hull boat.

Define composite?

That would add a ton of weight. Good idea but would add to much weight and cost alot more. Save the money you would spend on composit and have a good custom cover made so it wont get wet.

Too thick and expensive; nothing beats aluminum   ;)
