Featured Replies

I was wondering if you guys could tell what lakes to check out in Tallahassee for bass fishing in a gas powered boat. Thanks guys!

Jackson is the only one that comes to mind. Or you could travel a little northwest and hit Seminole

I got into the Bradford chain of lakes a couple times and got a 5 pounder. Used to fish the ockloconee river too, and caught a lot of variety there. Used to be a sand ramp off tower rd , and we would fish all the way to hwy 90.

I tried talquin once and didn't catch any.

Carr lake used to have a rep. For huge bass but It may have dried up recently.

I would guess that there is not too much pressure on Bass at Talquin, it's a destination spot in Florida for crappie. I have always wanted to try it out for bass. I've been there a lot with my old man on his "crappie pontoon" boat. Lots of fun for sure
