Yesterday I finally tried my hand at fishing a larger swimbait (for Wisconsin standards at least).

 

I was fishing the 7" version. I got a ton of action on it (pike loved it too). Problem is, my hookup ratio was pretty bad. 

 

I was using a 5/0 in this. rs.php?path=TKSBD-W-1.jpg&nw=302

 

I'm curious what you guys use. Would a 7/0 be too big and mess up the action of the bait?
