I have a 9 foot medium heavy surf rod and a 7 ft medium inshore rod, I want somthing in between I can through lures on,( medium size poppers, jerkbaits, larger soft plastics...etc) my budget is preferabley below 100$ for rod and the reel, please leave any info, thank you!

    penn excursion has been a fav salt and fresh water rods for me they also have very good setups for under $150 with tax. i got two from bass pro in destin florida.
