Switchcing depth finders?

Featured Replies

Well it looks like I am going to keep the bass boat I won and get rid of my old one!Anyway, the new boat doesn't have a GPS unit on it.It has a Lowrance X135 in the dash and I am wanting to replace it with an Eagle that is both a GPS and a DF.

Question: Do I have to change out the transducer?Wires?

I'm hoping beens Eagle and Lowrance are the same,I can basically  unplug the X135 and plug in the new one. Then just mount my satellite.

Thanks  CJ

nope, you will to stay with lowrance to use the same connections.

CJ I would change the transducer out.  You should be able to use the power cable.

Lowrance color codes the cables. If your connections are grey/blue and your new unit has grey/blue you are good.
