Irod Gen II Fred's Crank Launcher Jr.

Crankbaits are something I have spent very little time fishing and I'm looking at getting my first cranking rod this fall and wanted to get some opinions on this rod. Is this intended to be a rod for deeper diving cranks or will it also handle stuff like wiggle warts and other shallow to mid-depth stuff just fine? I'm not looking to throw any true deep divers (20+) but pretty much anything smaller than that. I'd also consider other rods if you guys have suggestions in the same price range but from my research so far I was leaning towards this one.

I have 2 of them both paired with Abu Revo winches. This rod will throw just about anything 3/8oz and up. I usually keep a 6xd on one and a Mann's 30+ on the other. It loads perfectly both on the hookset and the cast. Very lite and balanced as well. Another great rod I use is the Powell Max 3d 7' 11" cb.

What he said. LOL

Awesome rod. I really like mine. Run everything from KVD 1.5's to 6XD's.

Just what I was hoping to hear. Thanks!
