Fishing a muddy river?

Featured Replies

What would yall do? I live close to a river that gets very muddy at the slightest drop of rainfall. I live in georgia and very seldom see that river cleared up. I went yesterday and only managed one good hybrid bass on a dark crank bait.  Other than that I didnt get bit.

My home away from home is the local river. Have two others that I hit that are a short hike. They have been unfishable the majority of the season. I've switched over to a local lake, may just fish it to seasons end. Heart broken that I can't get on the river. Feel more at home there.

I feel for ya.
