Would you/could you fish in reclaimed water?

Featured Replies

There is a pond near me that looks perfect for fishing. Yesterday when i passed it, i finally decided to go check it out and saw some bass. I didnt have a pole with me at the time but it did have a sign saying that the water is reclaimed water. Is it safe to fish in reclaimed water?

I fish a pond with really good fishing that is reclaimed water.

Hell yeah. I wouldn't go swimming in it. But I'd fish it for sure.

This is exactly the thing. Don't drink the water, don't play in the water or let your dog swim in it, and don't eat the fish you catch from it and you'll be good.

The pond I fish usually has pretty clear water and tons of fish and vegetation, I'm sure partly due to all the extra nutrients in the water.

I will fish any body of water that has a healthy population of big bass.
