Want to go fishing?

Featured Replies

Had some free time late Sunday afternoon. Had 2 of the 3 kids home with me, the oldest was spending the afternoon with a friend.  Just said " anybody want to go fishing " and for once both kids said yes.  I took them to a local pond that has a playground on the other side of the parking lot just in case the fishing was slower than their attention would allow. My son caught a bunch of sunfish and got his first bass. My daughter caught a bunch of sunfish too.  Went through a pack of worms but never had to cut off a hook. Overall it was a successful couple of hours.

I got home a bit early from work today and they both asked to go again.  I might finally have a fishing buddy or two ?
