  1. Seems like one team could be considered a Dynasty especially playing in 3 of the last 4 super bowls while winning two of them. While the other team has only 1 playoff appearance in the same time frame. Detroit fans have something to be excited about for once, let them have their time.
  2. I get 2 or 3 emails a month telling me its my last chance Not sure they understand the words they are using
  3. I have a B.U.M Equipment hoodie from the early 90's Inside the pocket was another pocket with a velcro tab Perfect for a wallet or 2 pagers if you were a baller ... lol Great for making sure nothing fell out My phone fits perfectly in there now The problem is after 30 years its about as thick as a t-shirt
  4. I'll just leave this here
  5. The old Excalibur rattle baits were my favorite
  6. looks like MLF created a new league the 2023 Tackle Warehouse Invitationals 3 day 5 fish events with weigh ins BENTON, Ky. – Major League Fishing announced today the roster for the 2023 Tackle Warehouse Invitationals, six three-day tournaments that feature a field of 150 pros competing for a top prize of $115,000 and an invitation to compete at REDCREST V in 2024. 7. This reminds me of UFC fighter Bryce Mitchell https://www.cbssports.com/mma/news/ufc-fighter-bryce-mitchell-details-gruesome-groin-injury-suffered-in-power-drill-accident/
  8. Blame it on FFS, this will push more guys to the banks
  9. I hope that your mom gets better and good luck !!
  10. In another video, it stated that Jacob Runyon is also going to court over a domestic violence charge and also had a restraining order placed upon him. Walleye cheater and a wife beater, what a guy
  11. To me the most exciting days are the cut days on the BPT Heck I usually watch days 3 and 4 but rarely the final day. I'm still a BASS guy though and Redcrest will never be The Classic
  12. Bass resource guys look like this ...
  13. I was playing devils advocate, sure FFS is an awesome piece of equipment. However, when they all are using it. The advantage is lost. If the guy in 40th place has FFS and so does the guy in 1st. What was the difference? I see it as making the right on the water decisions, having more than a couple schools to cycle through and/or hitting the school at the right time so they could be triggered or fired up. My father in law has had side imaging for about 5 years on his boat. He refers to it as the worlds most expensive depth finder, because he cant use it. lol
  14. What a horrible Thursday night game. Looked like a Johnny Manziel VS Ryan Leaf competition
  15. Next bass resource meet and greet I'm gonna rob some of y'all
  16. It's funny because all the smallmouth tourneys I watched almost every competitor had FFS. Why didn't everybody win? FFS is just another tool, the guys that become the best at it will do better than those who dont understand the nuances. Same thing happened with 2D sonar and side imaging. IMO you are seeing is that some of the old dogs are having trouble learning the new tricks.
  17. About 15 years ago in Ohio , it was a felony something about trying to change the outcome of a sporting event. Not sure of where on Erie this took place. They are lucky the mob didn't get them. Haven't heard that many f bombs since the last Browns game
  18. This seems to be the case here with suspending smallmouth. Lots of guys will livewell fish when they are catching from a school. I know guys that will also move away from the spot before releasing them Is it some sort of superstition? could be especially down here MLF guys release them all and some guys sit there for what seems like hours on the same school catching them consistently However, winter schools and late summer schools are not what tournament fisherman chase.
  19. Just depends on the lake, Near me since they drop the water 20 feet every year Our floating docks are mostly the ones with cables. These offer spots in between floats to skip under In some cases like in the picture, they have a set of steps that also extend into the water they crank the dock up or let it float out further depending on the water level That single float under the walkway is the most productive spot for me anytime there is water under it
  20. Skip a toad. Excellent around docks especially when everyone and their brother is throwing a jig or senko at em
  21. Around here there are quite a few folks that fish for food. They go multiple times a week and will harvest pretty much anything. Those are the people I'm concerned about. Hope they catch enough for a meal.
  22. Did I mention I was a Browns fan
  23. Saw this elsewhere. A follow up said that he made it .. Murica!!
  24. I've got a Crestliner 16 and a half foot aluminum boat. My main ramp is an old road the dead ends in the water. So after I dump the boat in the water, I pull it up on the old asphalt or rip rap. Since my boat floats in a couple inches of water, I can pull it almost all the way in. (yours should too) Then I usually grab the nose, lifting and pulling it ashore the last foot or so. So there no real ramming of the boat ashore, more like guiding it to a rest. You want a long enough rope to get the boat in the water and you can pull ashore after pulling the tow vehicle up. I like to ease the boat into the water as opposed to launching it out and it taking up all the slack jerking the boat back towards me. My goal is to have the boat come off the trailer but be barely moving away from me.
  25. I fish a toad as my primary topwater bait. I view it as a finesse type of buzzbait, that's weedless and skips well. It's an excellent search bait. Honestly, I dont have the patience for walking a frog over the same water. I fish Norris Lake in east TN and its deep, clear and has no weeds. I'll catch em' over open water but that because underwater there are rocks, submerged laydowns, depth changes all the things that hold fish
