Humminbird 565 locator

Featured Replies

I am shopping for a new locator and this one is priced at about 200 bucks. Seems to have some nice features and has a 5 inch display and 640 by 320 pixels. Anybody have any expierence with this model? And do you think it would be the best in that price range?

about 2 weeks ago I asked what fish finder I should get in the 200-300 dollar range and numerous people said the 565 was the one to get. At the time cabela's had the cheapest price I found.

I am looking at the one too. 199 seems like the cheapest you can get it for.

I've had two 565s on my boat for 3 years now and no complaints here. IMO, it's the best bang for the buck.

The Eagle FishMark 320 and FishMark 480 are nice units as well.  If you find a better deal on one of those don't pass it up.

We have those 565 on several of our work boats and they don't even come close to my Eagle FishMark 480.  They are not very nice.
