Dredge Arky 1/8 oz jigs limited run

Featured Replies

I did a limited run of Dredge Arky heads with and Owner Deep Throat hook.  I have had requests for a light jig.  Available in all of our colors.  Jighead only is also available.

Very nice!  Do you know the total finished weight of the jig?

That jig pictured weighs 0.3 oz. I weighed it on a postal scale

Excellent.  So that is like 5/16, or just about 7/16 with a baby Rage Craw trailer.  Your 1/4oz heads with the same hook weigh .41oz, so that is a good step down.  Moanar used to sell these great finesse jigs that were just a little under 7/16 w/ Baby Rage, so this looks like a great replacement for those!

Dibs on 10 of them while I sort out colors!

Do we have to contact you on the forum to order them or just go through your site? Btw I just received my first order from you today, Im literally blown away by how nice they are, you put the big brands to shame. Thanks so much!

Out of curiosity, does the 1/8oz one have the same size hook as the 1/4oz one?

1/8oz jigs are an odd thing, some are closer to a "normal" bass jig while some are closer to a tiny crappie/panfish jig.  I am always looking for ones that straddle the line, a strong enough hook to handle a good sized bass, but small enough that a rockstar panfish could still hit it and get hooked.

It is smaller then the 1/4. It's a 2/0 hook

I have been meaning for months to email you about cooking up a replacement for the discontinued Monars', I think you have saved me the trouble!  I credit fishing tiny jigs with really helping me get comfortable with jig-fishing in general.  The tiny ones get hit so often that I got a lot of practice detecting bites and setting the hook.  I also like them for bank fishing riprap dams, the light heads don't seem to get caught up in the rocks as often as even a 1/4oz jig will.

I am calling it now, tiny little jigs will be the hot lure for 2019.

It's a 2/0 hook not 3/0. Sorry for the typo.

A jig like this would virtually float with an ElaZtech trailer...

Weight with a Baby Rage Craw trailer, right at .43oz.   I think I am going to trim the skirt about 1/4" past the hook bend, thin the weedguard by 1/3 and these babies will be ready to rock.  I am going to my Top Secret pond this weekend and see how they do.

my bro is late so I did a little prefish. Got two on the baby jig so far.  I was fishing it on a L/XF casting rod and both hooksets were solid.  Second one picked it up and ran with, got like 10-12 feet before I stuck him.
