Went out this morning

Featured Replies

Went out for a few hours this morning I thought conditions were perfect. Dark and cloudy slight breeze just a touch of drizzle here and there only 45 out though. Caught one on popmax second cast was thinking yeah it’s on. Then nothing no more top water of any kind no spinner bait, chatter bait, crankbait, tried some plastics I don't understand. Nothing on small swimbait with keel weighted hook and under spin, nothing on jerkbait. The fall bite has just not worked out for me. Fishing from shore when you know there are fish in these waters and you just can’t find or get to them is tough sometimes. I go out at least three time a week a couple hours at a time is all I can squeeze in, mostly afternoon or night. I just can’t seem to get any consistency. The weather has been up and down and back and forth I don’t think that helps but I just can’t get on them. I’m gonna keep trying and look forward to spring.

I wish I could help you, but I've had the same problem. Not one bite since it started cooling down. Not even on a jerkbait.
