WELCOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry I can't help you but some one will chime in.

Welcome to the forum!  Great place to learn and to share.

As far as your question:  I got a storage container and a bilge pump from wally world.  I think the container is 60 quart.  Put a 3' piece of hose on it to fill it, then set the pump in it to aereate once in a while.  Then, during the day, pump out most of the water and pump back in fresh water.  Be sure to add Rejuvinate and you'll have no problems.

This works great on my Coleman Crawdad.

Welcome aboard!

8-)

i use a portable livewell when fishing tournys on my flatsboat. the one i have is 30 gallons (i think). i have a battery specifically for that livewell, and i bought the pump @ westmarine for about 30 bucks. i also rigged a couple of pieces of pvc pipe to create a fountain. i always fill my tank first thing in the morning and add release me to my water as well. the bigger the tank the better imo.

yea that would work but im looking for maybe a homemade job... has anyone done a homemade live well that brings in water from the river or is it not that important to keep adding fresh water

I have fished JonBoat tourneys, and most guys use a 60-100 qt. cooler and an aerator of some kind.  Along with rejuvenate or similar product, most fish are almost to lively at weigh in... a few have jumped out of the live well and escaped during removal for weigh in. ;D ;D ;D
