I'd still be fishing if we had water temps in the 50's here in northeastern PA. At last check the water temps were in the mid 40's. Our night time/early morning temps are in the 30's. Combine that with the excessive rain making the river fishing impossible without a boat and this has been the worst fall I've ever seen.

Yeah, rivers can get tough when its really cold. But if water clarity is ok, the bass are somewhat predictable. They're in the really still water.
