:cheer: I'd been searching for one of my Daiwa Fuegos (the older red ones) for a couple of months and finally reconciled myself to the fact that it was lost for good.  Clearing out the boat prior to winterizing, my electronics go on a shelf above my work bench where my muskie tackle box sits. Guess where that gem was hiding? I'd put it in there as a spare for the only muskie trip I took this season. The wife thought we hit the lottery because I whooped so loud.

She said it was my own fault because I have so much gear :jaw-drop:.........................women.

I "lost" my favorite discontinued Excaliber Zell Pop a few years ago for several months. I'd fished it earlier in the day and taken it off and couldn't find it at the end of the day. It was really windy and the bait is light, I assumed it must have blown out at some point. I even posted in the KC thread that I'd pay someone if they found it and returned it, that bait has so much mojo. That was in the spring that year. Late in the summer when I was rummaging through my deep diving crankbait box that I rarely get into, there it was. No idea why I put it in there, but man I was glad to see it. Still have that bait and it's so chewed up it's a wonder it still floats.
