I havent used the rollin runner but I have used the blakemore road runner same thing almost and I usually put on a curly tail grub or a double tail grub and I just cast and retrieve it like a spinner.

Looks kind of like a "fish head spin" IMO. I'll usually fish it with a Fluke or a grub, but I prefer the fluke....

It is call a underspin and is used on a fluke or a swinbait.

these bait are meant to be retreived slow and i means SLOW there great for bass and waleye and others most are made with a feather or hair skirt but you can put anything on them just reel it in slow
