A couple months ago I bought a baitcaster, Lews Tournament Pro in a 6.8:1. I want to match this reel to a rod in a Medium Fast and around 7'. My price range is anywhere from $50-$130.

I have a couple tournament pros and I put one on a carbonlite and one on a JM signature series from bass pro. Both balance out nicely and fish amazingly. I know people might give me a hard time about this but these combos also look really good with the colors.  I would just recomend taking a look (the carbonlite might go on sale for the BPS spring sale). They really are great “bang-for-your-buck” rods IMO.
