Rod shipping tip

Featured Replies

Shipped out a few rods today. My tube was 96" long, 10" girth, weight roughly 5lbs. Was expecting to pay $25-30 to have it shipped.

They ring it up and i'm looking at $38 with only $50 dollars insurance. So i remember someone telling me in the past to always have it rung up as 2-day priority mail. (usps) So i asked the clerk if he could do so. An as a shock to the both of us, it brought it down to $14 dollars to ship this giant tube. Add in $300 insurance (ive heard the horry stories) and my out the door price was $18.15.

Just a little tip to remember next time you go to ship a rod.
