So I got a Lews carbon blue gt baitcasting rod. My old one got grooves in the stainless steel guides. Long story short lews sent me out the same rod by accident so now I have this free rod.  Any ideas what I can do with besides sell it. I'm worried if I use it I'll get grooving again.

Yes, rebuild the entire guide train with new guides from MudHole and watch their vedios on how to to it. You have a replacement rod to use while you learn a skill that will help you a life time.

I agree with Tom. You can either go on YouTube or find a tackle shop near you and see if they do rod repair/building.

Good Luck!
