Gas and oil mix ratio ???

Hi i believe i have a mid to late 80's maybey even early 90's mercury outboard engine. Can anyone let me know what the fuel to oil mix ratio is. I believe it is 50:1 but i want to make certain before i fill it up.

    Outboards dating from the 70s through the late 90s is 50:1 GAS/OIL MIXTURE  ;)

    50:1 is a safe bet but I'd still get over to the mercury site and be sure what year my outboars was and to vertify that it was not some year/model that that needs 32:1 or 25:1 or what ever.
