I'm still on V1 of PP SS8, gonna be for a while given the 1500 yard spool.

 

But it is nice to see a detailed review like this.

    Yep just saw this video too. I like Tackle Advisors YT a lot too, he seems pretty unbiased unlike that other guy who doesn't seem to know how to set up a magforce reel to optimize casting distance, which is the metric he uses to compare performance.

    I believe he said Grand X-8 has a coating and regular X-8 doesn’t.
