Chase State Lake KS

Featured Replies

Wondering if any of you KS folks have fished here before? Thinking of tripping there with a couple buddies to camp and fish a few days either this spring or fall. Any info is greatly appreciated.

They've been working on the dam out there a lot. The water level has been fluctuating a lot (mostly very low). I've heard it can be fun if there's enough water to launch a boat though.

Blue your the best man. We would primarily bank it I imagine unless I decide to load my little boat in the back of the truck and take it. There are a couple F.I.S.H. Ponds near that we war to hit up as well. Good to know. Keep up the fishing vids. I tune in on YouTube fairly often.

I have fished it.  It is a very fun little lake.  The west end has a creek that feeds it, we caught most of our fish on this end of the lake.  The NE shore of the lake is rocky and we caught fish there as well.   There was a lot of grass in the lake and it was fairly clear when I fished it.   I know this is not much to work with but I thought I would try.

Hey all, I’m headed to Chase Friday to give it a go. Anyone been recently or have any kind of report on how it is?

Thanks
