The HMG's I've picked up felt counterbalanced already. They feel very tip light but specs are heavier than similar rods  with the same lengths and action.

Then what make the Fury appear more sensitive ; the Taper, Guides or reel seat ....does it have a softer upper 10% and/or are the guides Micro ?
