Has anyone made a long handle extension for a transom mount trolling motor? If so, what did you use? A picture would be great, if possible. I need it to be at least 3-4' long, so I can operate it from the center seat. I have a Minn Kota motor. Thanks.

    I have a 30 Minn Kota extension handle you can have for free  ;)

    There are some commercial ones on the market. Years ago I used a Whiffleball Bat handle cut to the length I needed and slipped over the TM handle.

    Thanks guys. I know there are some on the market, but I haven't seen any long enough. And I'd rather make one and save money.
