Can Humminbird lakemaster be updated

My 4 year old lakemaster sd card is very poor on 2 of my top lakes.   Do i need to buy a new one or can it be updated.  Its a regional map for an helix

    Everything ive seen is buy a new version. I would research first and make sure the lakes you fish are updated too. Id be ticked if i bought a new card and still was the same older maps of the lakes, when that was my reason to update.

    Go to http://chartselect.humminbird.com and find the lake you’re interested in.  Click the lake to see the details of what’s available for that lake.  There is a small “Preview Contours” link on the page if it exists. Click it to view the latest contour map.  Many lakes don’t have previews.

     

    I don’t know if you can upgrade but you can buy just one lake and create your own SD card if you have an SD card reader.
