hey all im new to the forum but i am a high schooler that loves to fish for bass. i am just wondering how i can find a used junker boat/ canoe that people have lyin around and would be willing to sell it for cheap. where is the best place to find these older boats? thanks

lots of boats are being listed nowa days.  look for one in your area.

Make sure you buy somthing that will be safe on the waters you intend to fish. Don't buy something like a 10' john if you if you are going to fish big waters. Be patient and wait for the right boat.

another thing to do, especially if you live near water, is keep your eyes open while you drive around and look for boats or canoes in peoples yards. You may find something that would work for you that someone is sick of staring at and would be happy to see gone.  Just ask and you may get lucky. The worst thing they could say is no.

alright...how about garage sales? see i live just off the lake and not on the lake, and i can probably find someone who would let me keep a boat on there property, but there are several garage sales by the lake and that might also be a good spot i guess to find a old boat.
