You got that right!  In my younger years, I rounded a point a little too close and hit a submerged tree and we both almost got tossed. That was my wakeup call. Kudos to the that guy for sharing his experience...might save a life.

Incredible vedio and risky for someone jumping into a boat out if control at 30 mph to stop it. 

Outboard powered boats torque turns the boat and it will return to the spot when the streering was released hitting something or running over the occupants in the water.

I watch from shore when a boat run over the driver that fell out of his boat killing him before anyone could stop the boat.

Kill switches are standard equipment for bass boats but not recreational boaters.

I just watched this vid over and over, trying to figure out why the boat gripped the water so hard in the first place to throw the passenger over. It looks like the driver may not have had the motor trimmed up very high and the bow caught the water in the turn?

Thoughts?

I'd like to learn something here

He swerved to miss a bouy and the bow caught a swell jerking the wheel out of the drivers hand turning the boat sideways.....out they went. What amazed me was the boat increased speed after 2 laps, explain the physics of that happening.

It all started with his eyes on his electronics and then he came up quick on the buoy. Some how, it straightened up after a few laps and sped away it appears.

It almost looks like the motor trimmed it’s self back down? I’m trying to figure that out as well. What kind of boat is this?
