Removing a flush mount fish finder

Featured Replies

I’m looking to get to remove a flush mounted (at the console )Humminbird 999 . Tried removing screws and just pulling but didn’t want to go break anything . I have a skeeter 2014 zx190 If that helps. Please and thanks!

Standard installation of a console mounted sonar is to use some kind of glue/sticky-back foam/caulk to insure a secure fit. You might have to use a thin putty-knife to cut that medium away before you can remove the sonar-unit.

Try removing the entire gage panel by taking out the screws and look at the inside back to see if any brackets are holding the sonar unit in place after you have removed the face plate screws.
