Looking to buy an inexpensive fly or lure vice to accomplish the following :

* Wire wrap existing jig skirts

* Replace jig Skirts

* Paint jig heads

Thanks in advance for your suggestions / experience for the above !

For those jobs I use a 4 inch shop vice.  It holds bass jigs better than my fly vice.

There are "Knock off" copies of brand name fly tying vices out there. While many of the copies are made for hooks for trout flies, some are made to handle salt water flies and those may work with the larger size (and gauge) hooks that you'll be using. If there's a local fly shop in your area, that you could contact, they may be able to help. They'll need to know the hook sizes etc. An inexpensive copy of a Regal vice might work. BPS used to have one (Crown?).
