Water under seat

Featured Replies

When it rains in this boat water collects in the compartments under the seats? If it’s in the driveway or in the pond this is a real problem. I expected these under seat compartments to be water tight. Any one else have this problem? Also there’s no automatic bilge Pump so you have to be quick to pump out rain water. I would appreciate any comments or ideas.

While it's in the driveway, pull the drain plug, and raise the front end  so the water can run out. Other than that, you'd have to spend the time to try and seal the under the seat compartments.

fwiw: installing an auto bilge is a piece of cake and is well worth the time and money spent. even my little johnny has one.

Like @Scott F said raise the front and pull the drain plug. I also cut strip out of an old towel. Push it in the drain opening about 4" or 5" and leave the rest hanging down. It will become a wick and drain the rest of the water out that is too low in the bottom to go out the drain.
