Headed down to a new lake to camp and fish with some family tomorrow through Tuesday. Just wanted to reach out to see if anyone had any general tips/guidance for El Dorado Lake. AKA, where's the best place to put in, where to run and not to run, anything to avoid or anything else pertinent etc... Being from up around KC I've learned to ask about trees under the water haha!

 

P.S. I'm not asking for places to fish, but if you want to include anywhere I should take the kiddoes, I won't be mad  

Never mind, found a local when I got here. Trees in the oddest places, and nice smallies. 

Been wanting to try that lake but have never made the drive down there. Glad you had success it sounds like.
