Booyah melee opinion?

Featured Replies

I picked up a jackhammer today but really do not want to spend 20 bucks every time I need a new bladed jig. Has anyone on here used the booyah melee and what is your opinion on it?

It's a very unique bait. It feels lighter than it is because the lead is further back on the head. It comes over cover much better than any other open hook bladed jig that I've fished because the way the head is designed, it almost acts like the bill of a crankbait. The blade hits the head and makes noise, which can be a big plus in dirty water or calling them out of cover. I had a great day fishing one in dirty water last fall with a nearly 20lb bag coming off a black and blue Melee fished around shallow rocks and weeds.
