I’ll be fishing with it tomorrow

Will it work? Yes

Will the action change and make the rod possibly unusable? Likely

No harm gluing it on with the a removable glue and trying it. If it doesn’t work out you can have the broken part spliced back on as DVT suggested.

You put the tip off another rod on the fenwick? Why not splice the original back on?

The original tip wouldn’t fit Back on the rod broke about 8 inches from the tip

Should've seen if it was still in warranty first. I broke the tip off my UL Eagle pulling down a snag, sent it back to Fenwick, and they replaced it for no cost.

I did, I broke it though I sat down on it emailed fenwick 3 times because they said on the website that even if you broke the rod they would give you a “sweet deal to get you back on the water” oh and by the way I also have a fenwick eagle that I use as my trout rod. It’s an awesome little rod

It will definitely work. My dad has done this several times. Just obviously changes the length and action of the rod. I see no reason it wont work for something tho
