Need a new wheel for pro craft 2002 boat and need help...

Featured Replies

So I have a 2002 pro craft 185 and I hit a fence post last week and ruined my wheel. I’ve been searching the internet to find a replacement for the wheel but I can’t find a match anywhere. Anybody have any suggestions?

Well Bama,

Get the (size) numbers off of your tire. Google trailer tires and or tire places in your vicinity (which you have already said you've done). Get on the phone and see if you can find one that handles trailer tires. Match the number of lugs (5) and tire size.  Go buy two if you want them to match and save the non-ruined one as your spare. You probably won't be able to find a exact match for what's on there but you should be able to find one that fits.  Good luck!

p.s. Sure are pretty chrome rims and bearing buddy.

Take a look at eastern marine in Delaware. They carry all kinds or rim and tire selection. I really think you may find purchasing a pair of rims ad tires will be you safest thing. Remember those rims have been on that trailer for a long time. There's is some rust visible on that rim. Procraft built a nice boat so I would not take any chances. This might be a good time to service all the wheel bearings and inspect the trailer frame and springs. If you find any issues it is better to find them before you put any money into the trailer.

So that was for my spare. I’m planning on getting a new axle and servicing the current wheels. I’ll just get a different wheel for the spare. Thanks everyone.
