Anyone own this rod? Which baits do you throw on it? 

Mostly the Rage Swimmer.

Thanks for the input. I’m just trying to get a feel for how stout the rod is and if it can handle jerkbaits, Squarebills, spooks, etc. unfortunately I can’t find one in a tackle store near me.

Absolutely, I don't as I have some deticated rods for them, but easily could!  IMHO, it is one of the versatile rod for light weight baits

 

I keep a MET MGL on it

MBR tapers are my favorite of all. That rod is great for all baits within its rating. I think the 2 power Loomis MBR rods are great for finesse jigs in open water. Here's a great review of it with lots of info :

I absolutely love the 842c GLX, it is defiantly one of my favorite rods.

 

I use mine for Jerkbaits and spybaits the most.
