Long 7'6" MF Spinning Rod Suggestion ?

Featured Replies

*Looking for recommendations for a longer 7'6" MF , MXF spinning rod recommendation with good tip + back bone + good balance  for applications where you need to move line fast thus the longer than usual 7' spinning rod  (i.e slip sinker + soft plastics applications , drop shot , etc. ) ... Looking to spend under  $150 if possible - thanks in advance .

*A possibility in the "best value" category may be the Kast King Resolute series (2 pc.) as they make a 7'6" MF model in that series for $69 (I know nothing about the Kast King Resolute series though but am willing to listen) .

Bass pro carbon light 2.0. Have one and love it. Winn grips too.

I've recently upgraded rods. I'm not that experienced. I researched and found that whoever has a rod, that's the one that's good. So, I looked at all of this and decided on a Dobyn's Fury $120. Some consensus on it being a good rod and company for the $$. But, it looks like there are a lot of other good ones too. Hard to decide with all the info out there.

its a little more than your budget, but i have the G. Loomis E6X JWR 892S and its awesome. its a 2018 model, the first generation models were hit and miss. but the 2018 are really nice.

just a thought. its a 7'5 M power extra fast action spinning rod, that fits your specs.

For your budget Fenwick Aetos 7'6" Med Fast is a great rod.
