I have a Dobyns fury series casting rod and one of the line guide frame was bent out, looks like something hit it caused the top portion of glue to come off from the blank. Do I need to fix this? The guide is on there but I’m worried about it bending out again.

Just modify your handling practices. Rod lockers for instance are rough on guides. It won’t bend during normal use. Down the road if moisture gets under the epoxy wrap on a new guide. 

Fill the crack with clear nail polish. Point of toothpick works great.

So I can’t just put a lil bit of epoxy behind it?

Rod wrapping epoxy isn't cheap if your only repairing one rod and the viscosity may not allow it to go into the crack, just cap it off, and the new epoxy won't hold well on cured epoxy, it most be roughed up with fine sandpaper to hold. That said epoxy has no shelf life. It's up to you how you go.
