using on board charger AND portable charger

We have a 3 bank on board charger for our 2 tm batteries and 1 starting battery.  My friend used the onboard charger overnight and the starting battery still was not fully charged.

He then added a portable charger to the battery and now has both chargers charging the battery.

Is this OK?  Any chance of damage from this?

    I don't know about the 2 chargers but if you haven't left a bunch of stuff on then you better plan on a battery in the near future.
