KastKing Perigee II M/MH and Heavy

Featured Replies

Had a question for you folks with the KastKing Perigee II rods. I first bought a M/MH Fast casting rod (2 tips) and just bought a Heavy fast casting rod. I noticed that the rod on the M/MH is actually thicker than the Heavy. Anybody else came across this or did I receive a mislabeled rod?

Yeah, I have the Perigee II M/MH Fast 3 piece BC rod as well, then bought the MH one piece version and it was thinner. I think it's just the way the 2 and 3 piece rods are made. With the ferule making the bottom portion thicker.

You should email Kastking.

To note, I have a couple of H/F Royale Legend rods and they're are the same size as my other brand MH/F rods. It's whatever materials they use. If they tout that they use a certain material that's stronger than what another brand is using they will use less of it, and that's why you're seeing the different diameter size on the blanks most likely. It's also a known fact each brand has their own definition of M MH H XH.

own the kk perigee II m/mh 2 tips rod ... this rod is rated as a multi-species rod ... use it too for light saltwater fishing ...
