I watched this on local news tonight, great story and the youngster was using a baitcasting outfit! Catch and release hats off to both the boy and his dad!

I saw this yesterday and I can't tell you how many times I've watched it. This kid gets it more than most adults I know. There are so many videos on the net of kids doing things that are obviously staged by their parents so they can get clicks and likes, but this one is as real as it gets. Congrats to the young guy and a big kudos to Mom and Dad for raising him the right way.

Good lord that was awesome.  I would even be a bit scared handling that beast.
