Okuma has these reels on sale right now.   https://okumafishingusa.com/collections/reels/products/50-off-citrix-350-baitcast

I've never used an Okuma, much less the big reels. Anyone here use these, or have anything good or bad to say about them? For general heavier lures, this price is tempting.  Thnx.    jj

I have one on one of their swimbait rods. It's a good reel that's built like a tank. My only thing that's a con, it's not a quiet reel when casting. If you've ever fished an older Abu round reel that has the levelwind that moves back and forth during the cast like it does during the retrieve, this reel does the same thing and makes a similar noise. Does nothing to effect the function of the reel and it's been a beast of a swimbait and A-rig reel for me, but I know little things like that bug some people so thought it would be worth mentioning.

:D  I picked up a set of ceramic bearings 50% off because the seller didn't like the noise they made.  Doesn't bother me.  Some people like the DC noise on a cast.  Some don't.  I am fine with that as well.

JJ, I've no experience with that model.  First Okuma reel I ever used was a Helios Air.  Was impressed with its casting ability from the very first cast.  Bought a second.  The standard Helios took a bit longer to dial in.  Personally I think Okuma and Pflueger reels are like Berkley and Fenwick rods....a lot of value for the money.
