River2Sea Bubble Popper/Walker

Featured Replies

Wanted to add a new top water to my TW for this weekend and I ran across two good looking offerings from River2Sea. One was called the Bubble Popper and the other the Bubble Walker. Both look good and have pretty similar designs and I just wanted to see if anyone had any one the water experience with either that might help me to decide which to try?

Big fan of the Bubble Walker 80. Cast like a bullet and fishes very easily. It's what I fished most of the day in this video and had a good day on a pretty infamously tough lake.

I have a bubble walker in the smaller size, and I have done well with it when I throw it. I ordered a clear ghost pattern, so when I have clear water, I throw it, and it is a good lure that produces for sure. It looks just like the Megabass version, and does have awesome action. I like most of the River2sea lures I have tried.

I have been planning on getting the larger size, for $10, I think it is a good value.

+1 on the smaller Bubble Walker - it is a unique walking / popper that works ! Best colors : Bone , Chrome , Bluegill and Loon (in that order for me) . You can't go wrong with Bone to begin - I picked up one or two at a time waiting for TW sales to bring the price down a bit  - they last a log time , just change the hooks as needed  ... Good luck !
