Type/weight of jig to pitch into coontail shallow heavy grass holes

Featured Replies

I'm interested on what type and weight you guys use for pitching into coontail holes. I tend to want to pitch a light swim jig head with a rage craw to get a slow fall into the shallow hole. I feel like the swim jig head would give you the best opportunity to clear the jig while also giving you the option to swim in and out to the next hole. I'm think of this in lieu of a whacky senko falling on the hole. I'd think a 1/4 Oz with a rage would be the slowest fall you could get while having enough weight to get the rage moving. The is a separate method from ripping a heavier swim jig through the grass.
