It’s still more fun catching them on the high end rods; can’t be convinced otherwise. Sure, I’ve caught tons of them on heavier dead-er sticks. Works just fine, nothing wrong with it but it’s still a different feeling on a very light weight high end rod. For example, pulling a bass into the boat on my Dobyns champ 766 flip doesn’t feel anywhere the same as my 73xh expride. The liveliness of the blank changes the feeling. And the champ 766 is no budget rod, it’s just not nearly as sensitive.

Would you consider the decoy kg equal to the vmc & Gammy ringed hooks?

I need to make an order to most likely to digitaka for a specific hook. Is there any other unique deals on terminal, line, other accessories you pick up when ordering from there? Was thinking about the other hooks I use such as a ringed 3/0, g finesse hybrid, Tokoyo rig, and the list goes on. They don’t seem to have flipping weights. Maybe some killer line?

Maxcuratro 50lbs is a special line. I punch the thickest stuff with it. Frog, braid to leader spinnerbaits, swimbaits. Fantastic line. I’m playing with 20 & 30lb now for straight braid whacky rigging 25lb upgrade is is equal to 15lb power pro which is crazy thing on a bait caster.even upgrades 50 is like power pro 30. That might have something to do with it

I love my 73xh exprides but the last two years my 7’7H exprides keep getting most of the reps. They cast a mile, great hook ups and a great bend to play the fish. Special rod that can be used for just about anything.

Glen you can’t change the hook on those right? It’s dipped in?
