I have quite a few of the heavy cardboard rod tubes.  Anyone ever use them for anything other than shipping rods?

    My son uses them for his hot wheels - I tape 4 together sometimes and make a big jump at the bottom.  They make surprisingly good tracks/tunnels!

     

    I have also seen them used as rod holders on the wall.

    Cut them up, stuff with news paper and use them in the fireplace.

    I store, and transport my rods in them. I'll put 4-5 rods in a tube, and put the whole thing in my car
