Where/How are you fishing? Deep, shallow, yak, boat, bank? Targetting spots or Largies? Give some more details and we can help you more.

All the beds.  I'm gonna try to limit on bucks real quick and then slay the ladies.

 

Chatuge has smallies, right? 

Was, at one time, but mainly spotted bass fishery with some Largies still in the mix. I was there for the AOY tourney, favorite vacation place for me and the wife.

 

Never caught a smallmouth, maybe there is one stray left. I would definitely like to see what the fuss is all about. ?

The upper end is much more productive, to novices, than the lower end.  Use your electronics and find the bait.  Read the fishing reports here for up to date reports.
