I've got 2. An 18 1/2 foot Champion and a 12' semi V for smaller lakes.

The happiest two days of a fisherman's life are when he buys his boat and when he sells it. They are a lot of work unless you just want to leave things to chance. And they are expensive, too. But if you're tired of standing on the shore wishing you could just reach that off-shore point or steep droppoff, than a boat is the only way to go. And having a reliable fishing buddy who can assist you in loading/unloading the boat is a definite plus.

I lived aboard my boat for 14 years. East Coast from Chesapeake to Bahamas.

I've had my boat for 3 years It's a 78 renkin 16' tri-hull with a 40 mercury. Hoping by the br roadtrip I'll have my Mercury 80 on it.
